Blake Schwarz is the president of New Church Commons, which seeks to equip the church to reimagine its real estate. He serves as president of their flagship project, Central Commons, and consults on similar projects in Europe and North America. Blake and his wife, Julia, partner on for-profit social ventures focusing on affordable housing and employing refugees. He holds a BA from Wake Forest, an MDiv from Reformed Theological Seminary, and a doctorate from Fuller Theological Seminary where he studied the intersection of faith and economics. Blake advises multiple organizations and leaders on their business practices and theology.
